Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Cooper Crest LLC ("Cooper Crest," "we," "us"), which does business as Cooper Crest Apps, handles information in connection with this website and our apps and games. Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible, and wherever we can, your information stays on your own device.
Road Companion and Trucker Road Companion
- No account. You don't sign up or sign in to use the app.
- Your records stay on your device. Trips, stop notes, expenses, maintenance records, checklists, vehicle profiles, documents and rewards cards are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
- Location. With your permission, the app uses your device's location to show what's ahead on your route and nearby roadside facilities. Location is used on your device only. We do not receive it, and the app does not keep a location history.
- Voice commands. Voice features use your device's built-in speech recognition. Depending on your device settings, the device maker may process speech under its own privacy policy. We do not receive recordings or transcripts.
- Exports and backups. Reports and backups are created only when you choose to make them, and they go only where you send or save them.
- Map and Road Guide downloads. When the app downloads maps or Road Guide data from our servers, our hosting provider receives standard technical information needed to deliver the files, such as your IP address. We do not use this to identify you.
- Directions. If you hand off a trip to Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, that app's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
YMG — Your Media Guide
- Your own server. YMG connects directly from your Apple TV to the Jellyfin server you choose. Your server address and sign-in details are stored on your device and are used only to connect to your server.
- Your media stays with you. Your library, channel schedules and viewing activity stay between your Apple TV and your server. We do not receive them.
- No content from us. YMG does not include or sell any movies, shows or music.
Games
Our games are still in development. Before any game is released, we will update this policy to describe exactly what that game collects, including anything related to in-game purchases, advertising or crash reporting, and the App Store listing will show the same information.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to respond to you.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information only if required by law.
Children
Our apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can turn off location or microphone access at any time in your device settings. Deleting an app removes the data it stored on your device, unless you saved a backup or export elsewhere. You can contact us at any time to ask about, correct or delete anything you have sent us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
